All of my life I have been in love with architecture and all things beautiful. I decided to take my love of beautiful spaces and places and turn it into a profession in 2002. I thought college was going to be the best time of my life but instead it turned out to be some of the hardest work I have ever done! I graduated with a great education in more than just design but life itself. I worked exclusively in residential interior design for several years, building relationships with local builders and local contractors. In September of 2006 I had my first [and only] little girl. I spent the next five months realizing that I could never be a house wife and soon found a new job. I currently work for an engineering group that designs all things commercial with metal framing. While I love my job, it leaves a lot to be desired in the creative department. So I started up my own design company, FD Interior Design. Through my personal business I do residential work, teach design classes and design for small events. If you would like to know more about me and my life outside the cubby please see the below..
